Compatability: Fresh Install recommended.

Depending on what enhancements you presently have on your BG Tutu install, the results could vary. This is certain to work with fresh BG Tutu installs however. Any additional enhancements (except for graphics) should generally be made afterward.

This mod is not compatible with other item packs or any mod that provides additional dialog changes, because it replaces the "Dialog.tlk" file. While the items from any other patch or mod may still exist, their text descriptions are certain to change.

As you adventure the BG Tutu world with these new additional items, for the most part the items are placed progressively. Some exceptions do apply.

Installation Difficulty: Basic (copy/paste).

Pre-Installation:
1. Back up your "override" folder (suggest doing so by creating a RAR or Zip archive, no compression necessary).
2. Back up "Dialog.tlk" file. Copy it, rename it, ZIP/RAR archive it: you decide.


How to install:
1. Decompress Archive to you BG Tutu directory (i.e. D:\Black Isle\BG Tutu)...
...I suggest creating a fresh BG Tutu install, to avoid complications with other mods/patches.



BG Tutu PLUS is a mod which adds a series of new weapons to Baldur's Gate Tutu. In addition to these new weapons, many of them have been hidden, placed on monsters, or available for purchase from vendors scattered among the realm. Common monsters, in addition to some major NPC fights, have been scaled up slightly. Suggested starting character to explore things is with a Fighter class, or sub-class.

Most notable change is that Halberds are now quite useful, since they can be switched from piercing to slashing by right clicking the item and manually switching it.


Plain items, except for jewelry, now provide subtle bonuses to AC.
- Helmets provide +1 AC vs Crushing attacks.
- Belts provide +1 AC vs Piercing Attacks.
- Capes provide +1 AC vs Missiles.
- Braces/Gauntlets provide +1 AC vs Slashing.
- Boots provide +5% Move Silently bonus.
- Plain Amulets or Rings may provide a random saving throw bonus.


All armors have their extended/hidden innate AC bonuses revealed.

Additional monsters are added to the game:
Bronze Golem, Silver Golem and Gold Golem.

These guys are tough and have lots of physical and/or magical resistance.
Hint: Lots of AC vs Crushing will help a lot!


NPC Enemy difficulty is boosted. Many NPCs throughout the plot have improved stats, experience reward and the new items. Proceed with caution!
